Chocolate Coffee Beans

Are you tired of getting up in the morning only to find, and wonderful new yellow spot on your nice green front lawn? My husband and I have experienced this with several different dogs in our neighborhood and have narrowed it down to a couple methods 00004000 that we swear by! We didn't want to harm the animals or spend a lot of money so we came up with methods on how to keep a dog off your lawn with home remedies.

Method 1
Arm and hammer baking soda! Once you see those nasty yellow spots go grab your backing soda and an old milk jug. Mix together 1 cup baking soda into each gallon of water, watering your yellow spots every three days. Your grass will begin to grow back in and the neighborhood dog will no longer recognize his potty pit stop!

Method 2
Coffee grounds! Any flavor, brand, used or unused, caffeinated or decaf! This not only keeps the animals away but it also helps to fertilize your grass and flowers! We use this strictly in our flower beds to keep the animals out! I suggest sprinkling the grounds anywhere you want to keep the animals away from.
Method 3
Tabasco sauce, Garlic powder, and Dawn dish washing soap! ( I have never tried any other soap than Dawn, but I am sure you could do a little experimenting with hit). Mix two tablespoons of all three of your ingredients into a spray bottle along with a little water. Once you are done you are going to want to to spray your entire yard. Repeat every couple of days! Animals hate all three of these smells, and combined together its a major animal repellent!

Method 4
Its common seance that animals do not poop or urinate where there is a source of drinking water. That is why they will not defecate in their sleeping quarters or crates. So try putting out glass jars, or dog bowls with water in them. I have a lot of people that swear by this method alone!

Method 5.
If your neighborhood friend is using your lawn at the same time everyday, try turning on your sprinklers at the same time. Dogs prefer to not potty or poo on wet grass!

I have had a lot of problems with cats on my lawn as well so i figured i would give you our tip for keeping them away as well!

Kitty cat method
Vinegar! Go to your local grocery store or even your pantry and grab some full strength vinegar and place it into a spray bottle. Spray all over your yard! You will need to spray every few days to help keep the scent strong! This works more for cats, but i thought I would pass along the info!

Don't get me wrong, I am definitely an animal lover, i just don't like to clean up after any pooch other then my own! I hope you have gained some new knowledge on how to keep a dog off your lawn with home remedies and see just how easy and safe it is! Good luck!
