Williams-Sonoma to Offer Premier Line of Full Circle Coffee and Espresso Equipment Cleaners
Elmsford, New York (PRWEB) September 08, 2011
Williams-Sonoma now offers Full Circle coffee and espresso cleaning products to customers at their retail and e-commerce locations nationwide. The line of environmentally conscious Full Circle products was developed by Urnex Brands, respected cleaning experts in the commercial specialty coffee market since 1936.
According to the National Coffee Association’s 2011 report, “National Coffee Drinking Trends,” at home consumption of coffee is up. Over 50% of all adults drink coffee and, of those, 85% report they prepared coffee at home.
Many of these devoted coffee aficionados own top-of-the-line coffee and espresso makers, including models from Technivorm Moccamaster, Miele, Nespresso, Cuisnart and Breville, purchased from well-respected retailers such as Williams-Sonoma. They buy gourmet beans, which they grind themselves, and take pride in knowing how to brew a perfect cup of coffee or espresso. But, these same well-informed coffee lovers may be unpleasantly surprised to learn that coffee maker reservoirs ranked as the fifth germiest item in the home today (May 2011 NSF International study, “Germiest Places in the Home”).
London, July 15 (ANI): A U.S study has indicated that people who regularly drink tea or coffee may be less likely to be carriers of the 'superbug' methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
The government study of more than 5,500 Americans found that those who drank hot tea or coffee were about half as likely as non-drinkers to contract MRSA in their nostrils, reports the Daily Mail.
"Hot tea and coffee have been found to have antimicrobial properties," wrote lead researcher Eric Matheson, of the University of South Carolina, Charleston.
"Consumption of hot tea or coffee is associated with a lower likelihood of MRSA...
“Too many people overlook their coffee machine during their cleaning regime or use the wrong products,” says Kofi Amoako, Technical Director of Full Circle at Urnex. “Regular soap and traditional methods (such as vinegar and water) are inadequate to remove the deposited coffee oils that quickly accumulate. This oily residue, along with build-up of mold, minerals and lime deposits, is also the source of bitter tasting coffee and problems related to equipment malfunction.”
Those who savor a consistently great cup of coffee will appreciate the convenience of using the Full Circle products that clean coffee and espresso equipment in the same amount of time it takes to brew or grind a cup of coffee. But, the benefits of these products extend far beyond simplicity of use.

Coffee Makers – The Tools For Making Coffee
Would it surprise you that coffee makers have been around almost as long as coffee? It's true. The original coffee maker dates back to the Turkish Ibrik, a copper container with a long handle and a grooved tongue. This same exact design is still used in current times in the Middle East. The brew produced is a very strong brew since it is not filtered. The Turkish Ibrik is perfect for those who like to eat grounds.
For those who are not predisposed to eating the grounds, there are a wide variety of other types of...
