In celebration of the 2012 Olympics coming to London, Sea Island Coffee, one of Europe’s leading specialists in rare and exotic coffees, has created a bespoke ‘Blend of Champions’ coffee gift set. Sea Island Coffee believe in the importance of sport, therefore 5 from each tin will be donated to the Sport for Development charity Right To Play.
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 29 September 2011
Right To Play use the power of sport and play to help children and young people in some of the most disadvantaged areas in the world to develop socially, emotionally and physically. Therefore, they were an obvious choice when Sea Island Coffee were looking for a suitable charity to match up this limited edition sports inspired blend of coffee.
‘Blend of Champions’ is a unique mixture of the winning elements of coffee from around the world, in the same way that the London Olympics will be a meeting of winning athletes from around the world.
Guy Wilmot, Manager of Sea Island Coffee, said:
“We wanted to create a bespoke coffee blend to celebrate the London 2012 Olympics and to give part of the proceeds to a charitable cause. We discovered Right To Play through word of mouth. Sport is a great way of bringing people together and supporting communities; and of course, it is most fitting that they are the world’s leading Sport for Development organisation”
Kate Burt, National Director of Right To Play UK, said:
“As a charity born from the Olympics we have a strong affinity with the Games and are excited they’re here in London next year. Sea Island Coffee has embraced the upcoming Olympics and this is reflected by the production of the special edition ‘Blend in Champions’ coffee. We are really happy Sea Island Coffee recognises the positive impact sport has on people’s lives and that they chose to support Right To Play.”
