This holiday season will see the launch of a new site featuring stoneware dinnerware and stoneware coffee mugs at http://www.stoneware-dinnerware-mugs.com]. Stoneware Standard did extensive research before deciding to launch its Web site and offer a full range of unusual stoneware tableware products from mugs to serving platters by Mara and Padilla. For any holiday season or special occasion, these unique stoneware products are great for corporate gifts, friends and family.
Although Stoneware Standard is strictly an online store, the idea was to present the products to the customers as if they were in a brick and mortar store. That is, if a customer was looking for a certain theme they would expect to find like products grouped together in one location. In fact, being an online store, this idea was actually easier to set up.
Stoneware Standard looked at designing a Web site that would showcase Mara's and Padilla's products in such a way to be extremely customer friendly.
With this in mind, Stoneware Standard took Mara's many character themes and grouped them into individual pieces by design. An example would be if the customer was interested in certain pieces with a horse theme, there is a category with all pieces pertaining to horses grouped together, such as cups, coffee mugs, bowls, etc.
Continuing the customer friendly idea, Stoneware Standard has displayed Mara's very artistic 16-piece stoneware dinnerware sets with her complementary pieces on the same page. Again this is logically designed as if they were in a brick and mortar store where they would expect to find all related dinnerware pieces in the same area.
Mara being a true artist also has a collection of artistic products some of which have been displayed in exhibitions around the World. Stoneware Standard has setup a grouping of her limited series pieces for customers who are interested in true works of art.
What makes these stoneware products so unusual is that Mara mastered her technique with brush and stylus and was then able to express her artistic abilities directly onto the stoneware dinnerware items. Her designs are of heirloom quality and her Limited Series Pieces, for example, show her intricate detailed art design.
For the Padilla collection, Stoneware Standard designed the pages to display Padilla's stoneware coffee mug trees in a customer friendly fashion, giving the customer large enough color swatches and a mug design picture for the customer to actually see the unique artwork embossed on some of his coffee mugs.
Padilla, after mastering the technique of high-fired ceramics, has a process which includes firing the piece at high temperatures, letting it dry for a couple of days, removing the rough edges, and then applying a lead-free glaze creating the appearance of it dripping before firing it again for a shorter period of time.
Stoneware Standard's goals are to present its stoneware dinnerware products in such a way that the customer actually feels they can touch the product as if they were in a brick and mortar store and to give the customer unique gift ideas for the coming holiday season.
